  • What?

A one-of-a-kind aquatic fundraiser with 100% of the funds raised by swimmers providing FREE swim lessons to those who apply and meet the criteria. This past year C2C also began a relationship with 'One with the Water,' an organization that teaches disabled and/ or terminally ill children and adults how to swim.

Did you know that drowning surpasses all other causes of death among children ages 14 and under in California, while LA County has the highest rate of near-drowning of any county in the state? The Coast 2 Coast Swim Challenge was created to heighten awareness of these facts and combat this problem locally.

Whether you swim slow or fast, for one lap or a hundred, you’ll have fun while making a difference! See registration page for complete details. *Open to all ages

    VIRTUAL EVENT DONATION LINK

The 2014 event was a big success on a variety of levels. We raised enough money to provide over 300 children with free swim lessons and for the first time, scholarship recipients showed up and swam to support the event. To see these young children swim from one end of the pool to the other is very rewarding and shows that our dedication to providing free lessons is working.

We also welcomed student athletes from USC, former olympian Rebecca Soni, and Isreal national team member Max Jaben; as well as, USC Head Coach Dave Salo, UCLA Masters Coach Erika Stebbins and Tower 26 Head Coach Jerry Rodriguez.
